This week was a very exciting one in Scoil Teampall Toinne. All of the students thematically dressed up for their birthday month. Our fantastic local photographer Hilda McMahon did a wonderful job taking photographs of all the children when they were dressed up. These photos will be used in the 2019/2020 Calendar which will be available to purchase before Christmas. Many thanks to McMahon Photo Studios, and everyone who helped prepare the children for their photo shoot!

We built boats out of tin foil, lollipop sticks and sellotape to see would they float. We put the boats in a basin of water. We put biscuits on them to see how much weight the boat could carry. When we put too many biscuits on the boat it sank. Some managed to stay up but others sank.
We had great fun. Senior Infants had great fun tasting a variety of new fruits this week. Check out some of the fun photos on our subjects page.

Some children thought he was the previous President of America (Abraham Lincoln) but this Abraham was the first Jew and God asked him to move to a new land and change his name from Abram to Abraham.
